The PHP Agency is a financial service company that operates in a Multi-Level Marketing business model. It is a company based in Texas and launched in the year 2009 by its founder Patrick Bet-David.
So mainly, the company offers financial services such as insurance plans and other products. I checked their website and there are many other products that they offer including apparel, drinkwares, business cards and accessories.
The company is also known to operate in an MLM business model, which opens their doors to people who wants to become their agents.
However, many people claims that PHP agency is actually a pyramid scheme in disguise.
We all know that Pyramid schemes are focused more on recruiting, with almost no products to promote but the membership.
With regards to these claims, PHP Agency has products to offer, even a lot of them actually. So I think there is no point in arguing that part or maybe we can, and let us look at some points as we go on.

1. Term Life Insurance
Term Life Insurance’s coverage involves a pre-determined amount of time usually between 1-35 years. The insurance will be paid out if the policy owner passes away within the policy terms.
This type of insurance is considered to be a more affordable and cost-effective option in the market.
2. Return of Premium Term
The Return of Premium (ROP) term insurance policy involves returning all contributed premium if the owner outlives the term period. The premium returns could actually start as early as the second year of policy. It also includes protection in place when needed.
3. Indexed Universal Life Insurance
Indexed Universal Life (IUL), through its versatility of premium and death benefit, has a permanent policy similar to conventional UL; but index lendings have also a greater potential for growth. In order to increase the likelihood of greater returns the policyholder is able to choose a percentage of the amount of funds to invest in certain indexes.
4. No Medical Exam Life Insurance
This type of insurance will cover your medical bills and funeral costs including plot and mortuary expenses. By the name itself, this type of insurance requires no medical exam or blood work and can be up to $250k death benefit.
5. Fixed Index Annuity
Fixed Index Annuity involves principal protection and death benefit which adds a possibility for gains and contingent upon market performance.
6. Other Products
Aside from the insurance plans, they also offer other products such as apparels, drinkwares, business cards, and accessories.

The rate at which PHP Agency’s affiliates are paid varies according to the level of their membership and other sales performance:

Direct Commission Rates are given out every insurance service sale based on rank:

2. Direct Commission Bonus
Bonuses are given out by PHP Agency if an affiliate achieves the following:
- 10 Successful Recruits, 25 Filled Potential Applications, and 25K GV – 5%
- 25 Successful Recruits, 25 Filled Potential Applications, and 50K GV – 10%
- 50 Successful Recruits, 50 Filled Potential Applications, and 100K GV – 20%
- 100 Successful Recruits, 100 Filled Potential Applications, and 200K GV – 30%
- 150 Successful Recruits, 150 Filled Potential Applications, and 300K GV – 40%
3. Generation Bonus
This is the bonus paid by PHP Agency based upon the uni-level compensation structure. This is the structure that looks like a pyramid in shape.
- 1st Level – 10%
- 2nd Level – 5%
- 3rd Level – 4%
- 4th Level – 3%
- 5th to 7th Level – 1%
- Additional 1st Level Bonus if Affiliate has: 10 Successful Recruits, 25 Filled Potential Applications, and 25K GV – 5%

Who Is PHP Agency Best Fit For?
With the line of business they have, I think PHP Agency is best fit for those who are passionate about multi-level marketing businesses. Also, there are many of us who wanted to do personal sales and talk to people about some help they could offer. So I think a business like PHP Agency is a good ground for these types of people. However, if PHP Agency is a pyramid scheme in disguise, then it’s best for no one.

The only time that affiliates earn is when they recruit other people to join. This is where things begin to become questionable. A legit MLM company should have income potential on both recruitment and retails sales. However, it turns out that PHP Agency does not disclose any incentives when it comes to retail sales. That is why when you are an affiliate, you will be “forced” to recruit people in order for you to earn. That sounds more like a pyramid scheme in disguise to me.
Is PHP Agency A Scam?
In my opinion, PHP Agency is not a scam. It is a legit business that operates for over a decade already. However, I cannot recommend this company to you.
The fact that they almost neglect the income potential of their affiliates towards retails sales is a big turn off. It even leads them to become a pyramid scheme in disguise.
Retail sales are actually the differentiating factor between a legit MLM company and a pyramid scheme. So if PHP Agency lacks that part, despite every impressive figures you know about them, then you should avoid PHP Agency.
