Salehoo is perhaps one of the controversial marketplaces for resellers, suppliers, wholesaler and merchants. In the past year dropshippers have grown in numbers in the internet and many are gaining significant attention with a growing number of users over the years. There are many confusing feedbacks about Salehoo which probably makes you wonder is Salehoo a scam? Before you get too overwhelmed with the information that you read online, here is a salehoo review to help you decide for yourself.

Salehoo review – What is Salehoo all about?

Salehoo is an online marketplace that provides a wholesale supplier directory. According to its site there are more than 8,000 wholesalers and dropship suppliers subscribed on their system which sold more than 1.6 million genuine products at wholesale prices. At the onset it is worth noting that Salehoo does not sell anything. What it offers are tools to access genuine suppliers worldwide at an annual fee of $67.

What you get in exchange for this subscription is access to the Salehoo supplier directory and market research labs. There is also a member forum that you can join and interact with other users of the platform. Salehoo is based in New Zealand with a wide database of suppliers coming from China, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA and UK. Resellers can make use of the Salehoo’s platform to find and compare suppliers of the products they are looking for. Salehoo merely provides a sourcing tool for resellers in order to find products at wholesale prices. You can find over 75 product categories from its directory from various product lines like computer, books, furniture, clothes, electronics and entertainment.

What are the services you can avail from Salehoo

Your $67 worth of subscription comes with access to the online directory of genuine worldwide wholesalers of different products. You can avail of some add ons and upgrade opportunity, including the use of its Online Store Builder that is used as turn-key software to help you start your own online store at an additional fee of $27 per month. There is also an online selling tutorial course that costs $247 that is charged as a one-time fee. The main focus of this course is selling on eBay and how to set up an e-commerce store.

Apart from using these learning tools for your own personal business, you also get access to the most profitable niches in the market through its Market Research Labs tool. Salehoo platform also gives you the opportunity to interact with active members who can share some helpful information to help you find what you are looking for and what to look for from the best supplier.

How to make money using Salehoo platform

Many resellers are able to make money from using the Salehoo platform. By finding high quality products at the cheapest wholesale price, resellers can gain quite a good profit from the products they sell. There are a number of different products that you can buy from Salehoo at a wholesale price and resell to your online store.

The caveat however is there are some products that may be hard to sell on eBay and may not be quite profitable for your business. This makes it important for you to know which niche to pursue for a profitable business with an ecommerce site.

The legitimacy of Salehoo

If the question you want to answer is whether or not Salehoo is a legit service, the answer is yes. You get the kind of services that they advertise for the price you agreed to pay, although it is more expensive just to access the directory where you can actually get hold of a list of wholesalers with some kind of internet research work and time investment for free. But for serious resellers that want to get immediate access to genuine wholesalers, subscribing for the Salehoo may benefit their business well.

In terms of earning money by using the services of Salehoo it actually depends on your ability to sell the products you buy from the wholesalers using the platform. As noted earlier Salehoo does not sell anything but merely offers a tool for searching a directory of genuine wholesalers. When comparing Salehoo from other companies offering the same kind of services, Salehoo seems to be a lot cheaper. Their tutorials and training tools are reliable and loaded with helpful information. Not bad at all to avail if you are serious about learning how to start and manage your own online business.

Conclusion

You probably now have good answers to the question is Salehoo a scam? It is not since you get something of value from your money. However how you gain an income from using its services highly depends upon your ability to search for the products sold at the lowest wholesale price in order to gain more fruitfully when reselling them.

  1. Hi Cena.
Thank you for this valuable information on Salehoo.
I came across it once, but when I noticed that there is a subscription fee of $67, I gave it a skip. I was not sure if this was a scam or not. Now it is clear that they are NOT.
But as you mentioned, you can do your own online research to find products without paying.
This might come in handy for those who want to leverage on finding products quicker for a fee, I suppose.
Thanks for clearing up the legitimacy of Salehoo.

    Cheers,
    Jacob

  2. Hey Evelyn,
I’ve heard if Salehoo but I wasn’t quite sure if I were to join it or not though, the fee is quite high especially for those just starting out.

I’m new to drop shipping but $247 for their courses is really cutthroat pricing. Are there any other places where I can apply for drop shipping courses?

  3. Your website is very easy to navigate through. It is admirable that you took on the big task of exposing internet scams. This could be a full time job. Your introduction to WA is well placed on your webpage with a good comprehensive overview. I did not get board reading all of it. I though your drop down menu in red with black letters was a little tough to read. I suggest blue with black letters or white with black letters.
