Want to start an online business? Check Out Our #1 Recommendation
Before you get attracted to signing up you should explore the answers to the question is Mommy Jobs Online a scam? It is not enough to rely completely on the feedbacks and ratings that some people give the site. In view of this, we have conducted our own review and here is what we found out.
Is Mommy Jobs Online A Scam? – Are Their Jobs Legit?
Mommy Jobs Online offers a wide range of work from home opportunities. Different positions are available for data entry specialist, email marketing specialist, customer service job, resume writing, virtual job fair as among others. Each job has a unique compensation structure and different task objectives.
The good thing about their job offers are anyone can work regardless of where you are located around the globe. Many feedbacks about the job are good which affirm that the jobs that work from home moms do are legitimate. However, it can be noted that the pay is quite low in terms of the workload that the job requires. Some of the objectives are often difficult to attain and very hard to accomplish which must be met in order to become entitled to a higher pay or commission.
In short, most work from home moms will agree that the site offers legitimate work from home jobs but the compensation that one will earn is not commensurate with the work that one has to do. For instance, as a data entry specialist one needs to complete 5,000 single entries on a spreadsheet to be paid $15.
That is considerably a lot of work to be done to earn a measly $15. But for someone who is serious about earning some money, doing the jobs that are available at Mommy Jobs Online can be a good source of income, only it entails a lot of hard work. It is fair to assume that based on the work from home contractors hired by the Mommy Jobs Online their jobs are legitimate although may not be satisfactorily paying well.
The pros and cons in signing up with Mommy Jobs Online
As we resolve that the site may be legitimate and is paying its work from home contractors, it is worth pointing out that there are pros and cons involved for using their services. For the pros side, the site does offer work opportunities from home and it gives moms the chance to enjoy an income opportunity during their vacant time, especially when they do not feel comfortable being away from home and their kids.
They also have the opportunity of exploring potential income sources especially during desperate times of needing the money. However, on the cons side the pay is not really high and the work that needs to be done is often too many and some workers feel being underpaid. For some, it could be a job opportunity being offered to people who are desperate to earn money and are willing to take any work even though knowing they are underpaid.
A word of caution
After further research it appears that there could also be some warning signs that you should be aware about regarding the Mommy Jobs Online site. It appears that the owner of the site tries to hide its identity because it is not registered with some evidence of using anonymous service to make some valuable information invisible to the public.
The implication of this is that there is some difficulty of determining whether the site is a scam or legitimate. This means that there is a chance that this site could disappear with no traces of finding them.
Conclusion
It is difficult to answer yes to the question is Mommy jobs Online a scam? There appears to be legitimate job offers from the site providing an income stream to those who desperately want to earn money at their own pace and time.
It is fair not to assume that the site is illegitimate and a scam since they are also paying off the compensation due to work from home moms, however for most is too low in relation to the work load and job responsibilities involved. Thus, we recommend taking precautionary steps in using the Mommy Jobs Online service when looking for a work from home opportunities.
I applied, but when it came time to complete the contractor agreement, they expected me to pay either $85 or $210 for the background check(s). As an employer, if I want a background check or drug test, or something else, the company pays for it- so I would advise caution in going forward with this site.
Working from home is not for everyone especially if you are use to working outside the home. When you work at home you are almost like your own boss. The background check is included into their lifetime membership to become an agent or a member to access their pre-screened job boards. If you are considered a 1099 contractor, not an actual employee in which they do not hire employees then any fees is subject to being passed down to the 1099 IC which is tax right off in your favor at the end of the year. Their one time registration fee is justified due to the pre-screened work at home job findings they research daily to help contractors find legitimate home based jobs safely. Great site!
I’m an independent contractor with a well known national company right now and for my drug test and background, they paid. I could not imagine a legitimite company asking a prospective employee to pay for that.
Beware!!i !!! Very unprofessional…. I knew within 5 minutes that this was NOT the thing to do.
I am inspired to not register due to lack of faith in online positions asking for funds. I m a dependable , motivated, and passionate person seeking fulll time online position do u have any suggestions?
If you are a remote contractor of this site and not an actual employee then their lifetime memberships as stated on their join now page is $85 or $210 which the background check is already included so their is no caution here just a fact.

Here is the break down of the hourly and commission based salary potential earnings you can find from this valuable work at home job board site.
This is a great site. It helped me find several jobs within a few weeks.
This job site is a scam. They want you to pay $85 for nothing! Don’t be fooled by them. Very, very unprofessional, including website!
This site is not a scam. They helped me find work successfully all within 2 weeks of joining their job bank. If you do not want to pay their research and pre-pre-screening fee then you will have the worst luck of finding genuine jobs online because the free sites are all ran through and not hiring due to the volume of people that apply. Good luck!
Just researching the site and possibility of using it. Compared to Amazon’s Mechanical Turks, the pay is similarly low. MJOL has been in business for 14 years and is registered with the OK City BBB. The link is below. Only 3 ccomplaints filed in 14 years. Not a bad record.

Mommy Jobs Online site is great and the best one I ever found online so far. I joined and have 2 job offers my first 3 weeks of applying for jobs. There is alot of variety of different job types based on your background skills and the best part I like is they are all pre-screened and work at home jobs.
BBB is no indication that the business is above board. I have dealt with a few bad businesses that had good BBB ratings
Yes this company is great! I never go by anything that people posts now days because everyone has different skill levels from no experience to highly trained, so to each is own. So basically what I’m saying is ….this site is worth it to find legit jobs online.
Stay the hell away. It’s a scam. They spam you in order to get your money by different people. Then they ask you for money to complete a background check, which no one in their right mind should do. $85.00 to do something that is done for free by legitimate companies is worthless. Don’t waste your time with these scam artists!
Do not attempt the email marketing specialist and data entry specialist positions. You’re required to perform an enormous amount of repetitive tasks (sending emails, data entry, copy and paste) with very little reward. I sent thousands of emails to recruit employees over two weeks and got paid twenty dollars. The amount of data entry required to get paid is also ridiculous. Don’t waste your time with these two particular jobs.
The 85 dollar sign up fee was a waste of my money. The so called job bank they offer you is a list of jobs you could easily find for free on any job website.
I was also required to post email marketing jobs on job websites for MJOL. One job website emailed me and told me that the MJOL email marketing job is an illegal multi level marketing scam; and I was blocked from posting more jobs on the job website.
The email list that MJOL gives you is actually a list of prospective employees who have already been contacted several times by MJOL. If you want a “fresh” list, my supervisor told me I need to pay 79 dollars extra. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PARTICULAR POSITIONS
Thank you for that tid bit Steve. and thank you every one for putting your two cents in
first of all, the chic who owns that website is outta her damn mind regarding one of her so called “internal” positions. who in their sane, right mind is going to copy-paste 5,000 damn entries for a measly $15. is she nuts?…gotta be. that in itself is slavery and unethical. why not pay by the hour if that’s the case? because she can’t afford to pay no one by the hour, only commission, because she is broke herself and only make her profits via that costly background check fee of $85, in which no background check should cost that much. what background checking system she using….her own?…apparently so. and the 2nd “internal” position is “email marketing specialist” where she wants you to send out a minimum of 600 doggone emails a day for a minimum of 5 days a week and once again only paid via commission if someone signs up. i say she is plump loco and insane for even advertising those work from home jobs because the pay is poor and the work is not realistic to do in a days time, and companies and other so called websites like hers need to do away with that commission pay method crap because not everyone wants to work their finger to the bone and in the end be worried about whether they’re gonna be paid thereafter–are you kidding me?! she needs to reconfigure those numbers by decreasing them tremendously and up the pay, otherwise she’s will forever be hiring and racking up her profits with that high priced background check fee of $85. i see some on here eluded to the amount of $210 — it wouldn’t surprised me that she used to charge that much in the past but now has lowered it by $125. yeah, she’s highway robbing “the gullible” who are desperate. my advice — find a free work from home site that is free and does not charge you to pay a background check fee upfront, unless she’ll pay for it for you…otherwise…RUN from her website and keep your hard earned $85 because that’s how she makes her money. don’t be fooled nor swindled.
